Denver Wedding, Event, & Portrait Photography

The summer is coming to and end.  School starts Monday - all the little kiddos will fill the halls again! 

Congrats to Amy and Brian and the Cordovas, I shot their weddings right before leaving for CANCUN - where it was amazing weather and my sister and I had a blast!

You are blessed as an amazing family.  You are welcoming and open and made me feel right at home as a guest today.  Thank you for having me not only as a photographer, but getting to know me....and I, you, over the last couple of months.  It is the part of doing this work that makes me the happiest - meeting new people.

Have a wonderful 2 week getaway to Vancouver Island!!  It is an honor and pleasure to photograph your ceremony.  There is so much love and compassion for you amoungst your friends.  You are truely blessed.

So this Channel 7 A-list contest is so COOL!  I am in 4th place out of many many photographers - and it means that the amazing people I have come to know over the last few years are voting for me.  AND the reviews are awesome!

I'm very excited......the contest ends in September, so who knows where I'll end up....but for now, 4th place is pretty cool.

On a side note....11 days til Cancun.

So my sister and I haven't taken a vacation - as adults.....EVER

The time has come.....in less than 2 weeks we are headed to Cancun BABY!!!  Just put me near the ocean with a cool beverage and I am set for some serious vegging out!

Now.....mind you I have booked myself with weddings and photo shoots up to the day before I leave.....this Saturday, next Friday for Senior Portraits and Family Portraits, the following Saturday, then Friday and Saturday before I leave.  Am I CRAZY??  Well, yes, I believe I am sometimes.

But it's fun.

Hi everyone!!

Boy it has been a busy week - my Aussie couple and I headed to Red Rocks for engagements photos - FUN, then Mr and Mrs. Leyba followed with their wedding on the 28th, the Graeber's on the 3rd of July and Natasha and Steve on the 4th!!  I'm pooped.....but am having a blast!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL MY COUPLES.....

The Butterfield wedding is this Saturday - then on Sunday - my sister and I are taking a spa day - what fun!

Pride Weekend is here.  I haven't been to the parade in years - but we are going to head down with a group of friends and watch the parade pass us by.  My friend Jennifer Brindley of JBPhotography (http://www.jenniferbrindleyphotography.com) will have a booth - if you are there, stop by and see her stuff....she's awesome!

It's that crazy show where you take someone's house and do massive changes in a short period of time.

Well - my dear love suggested we do this for her parents - while they were gone for a week visiting the other sisters.  After today, I have serious concerns about whether we should just be gutting the whole show and setting it on fire for the insurance money....OMG - it's like a pandoras box - you move one thing, there's a hole, or a stain, or ........the house is very old, and so are mom and dad - but they are not willing to move - live in your house, die in your house.

I must reallllly love my girl - and our friends Bonnie, Jeremy, Robin and the guys must really love us!  They are helping with the job.

Well....I asked for it - more work!!  I am so blessed to have 12 weddings to photograph from now until October.  WOW!

Last weekend my friends Mo and Martin were married and are now sunning themselves in St. Lucia....CONGRATS!

My hair is growing back - the kids raised $2500 and Esther shaved the noggin.  Just in time for summer.

As a fundraiser for my school I am in a contest with my Head of School as to who can collect the most funds for a "Shave Off".  The community will choose who they want to see with a shaved head by dropping donations into a named jar for the next 3 weeks.

What have I gotten myself into!?
